RGBS Welcomes New Employees

RGBS is pleased to announce the recent appointment of a new group of employees. See below for summaries of three new employees’ experience and areas of expertise.

Michael Ahr

Michael Ahr, Project Engineer

In May 2019, Michael received a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. While obtaining this degree, he held several internships with RGBS, including the role of Intern Project Assistant for the Thomas P. O’Neill, Jr. Federal Building BAS upgrade project. Michael’s areas of expertise include project management assistance, field installation, systems design assistance utilizing AutoCAD, and the provision of on-site engineering support for ongoing projects. Currently, he is the Project Engineer for the NYCHA Ingersoll I & II Houses Energy Management System Upgrades. Michael is proficient in the Russian language; he holds OSHA 30-Hour and CPR certifications.


Luke Hillers

Luke Hillers, Junior Controls Engineer

In May 2016, Luke graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. Since 2019, he has worked for RGBS as a Junior Controls Engineer. Luke is experienced in planning, executing, and monitoring all phases of energy conservation and air handling upgrade projects. His recent projects include Manhattan Supreme Court, James J. Peters Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and Fisher Brothers Buildings. Luke holds OSHA 10-Hour and APNAT certifications; he is a member of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers.


Blake Luxoro

Blake Luxoro, Project Engineer

Blake began working full-time at RGBS in July 2019. He held several internships with the company while obtaining his Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. His experience includes assistant project managing, field installation, creating control drawings on AutoCAD, and providing on-site engineering support for ongoing projects. Blake’s recent experience includes roles as Project Engineer for Fisher Brothers Buildings, Design Engineer for NYC Public Schools, and Design Engineer for AT&T Data Centers within various facilities in NJ, PA, and New England. Blake holds the OSHA 10-Hour, CPR, and Advanced First Aid certifications.
